Semi-Private Exercise Physiology Coaching · Emerald

Your goals.
Your program.
Shared energy.

Grant guiding a client through exercise at You Move

Individualised Exercise Physiology coaching with Grant, in a shared session of up to four people. Build strength, work on your recovery and keep moving towards what matters to you.

A program built around you

Train alongside others.
Follow your own plan.

You might be returning to the gym after injury, managing a health condition or ready for a more structured approach to training. Semi-private coaching gives you an individual exercise program with clinical guidance, encouragement and a regular place to show up.

Each person follows their own plan, shaped around their goals, health history and current capacity. Grant coaches the session and adjusts your exercises and training as you progress.

Unlike a shared group circuit, your exercises, loads and progressions are specific to you. Coaching time is shared across a maximum of four participants.

Clinical guidance. Consistent progress.

Personal attention.
A place to belong.

Your own program

Strength, rehabilitation, mobility, balance or conditioning—your program reflects your needs and goals, rather than a circuit everyone follows.

Coaching with Grant

Sessions are designed and delivered by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, with exercise coaching, cueing and supervision throughout.

Room to progress

Your exercises, loads and training volume develop over time as your strength and capacity change. A regular session supports consistency and accountability.

Getting started

You don’t need
to start strong.

No previous gym or strength training experience is needed. We’ll help you find an appropriate starting point and build from there.

Everyone completes a one-on-one initial Exercise Physiology consultation before joining. Grant will discuss your health history, goals and current capacity, assess your needs and plan your program.

You can self-refer; a GP referral is not required. Medical clearance may be requested where clinically indicated. We’ll discuss whether semi-private coaching suits your needs or whether individual appointments are a better starting point.

Weekly membership

Make time
for your progress.

Common questions

Find your fit.

How is this different from your other groups?

In semi-private coaching, each participant follows an individual program within a shared session of up to four people. ForeverFIT and Bone Boost use a shared program structure with exercises adapted to participants. We’ll help you choose an option that suits your goals.

Can I join while rehabilitating an injury?

Semi-private coaching can support exercise-based rehabilitation where it is appropriate for your condition and stage of recovery. Your initial consultation helps Grant assess suitability and plan your next step.

Do I need a referral or gym experience?

No. You can self-refer, and no previous training experience is needed. An initial one-on-one consultation is required; medical clearance may be requested where appropriate.

What happens if I miss a session?

Give at least 24 hours’ notice to request a make-up. A suitable place must be available in the same week; otherwise the session counts towards your membership allocation. Short-notice cancellations and no-shows also use the allocated session.

Can I pause or end my membership?

You can request up to six pause weeks per calendar year with seven days’ written notice. Normal billing stops during an approved pause, and a pause covering part of a billing week uses a full week of that allowance. Your place is reserved for your return and may be offered temporarily to another client. Membership can end with seven days’ written notice. We provide the full terms before joining.
